The Colors of Law and Gospel map is designed to be used along with the Overflowing Hearts Story Cards while growing in the ability to recognize the distinct roles and impact of Law and Gospel in the heart. The colors represent elements of Law and Gospel that act on our hearts. (1 John 1:8-9; Jeremiah 31:33-34). The colors on the map correspond to the colors found in the Cross-Shaped Paper People, another hands-on tool that can be used alongside any story as a physical and visual reminder to watch for the work of Law and Gospel and the impact they have on the heart and repentance. Those who are already growing in their understanding of the concepts in the Story Cards can begin to recognize responses to Law and Gospel in stories using the The Colors of Law and Gospel map, and the conversations can become hands-on for those who use the Paper People.
The peace that Jesus died and rose to give to us changes everything (John 14:27). That's GOOD NEWS for me and for my neighbor. The Peace in Jesus poster and toolkit (updated version available soon!) keep tools from God's Word available to see and touch and even carry with us throughout our day.
Peace in Jesus tools can be used alongside any story as a physical and visual reminder to watch for ways in which God's Word applies in our relationships with each other. They can help us keep in mind that the peace that Jesus died and rose to give to us changes our relationships with God and each other in ways that honor Him and help us love and serve our neighbor as we are called to do in God's Word.

Good News for Me... and My Neighbor
The simplest tools in the toolkit, these cards are designed to help us look beyond behavior and outward appearance to recognize that the heart drives these responses, which is why God's focus is on our hearts (1 Samuel 16:7). While we cannot see hearts the way God does, we can feel and see the impact of the condition of the heart, and God can help us to be aware of and guard our hearts. (Proverbs 4:23; Psalm 139:23–24) Sin causes our hearts to harden, so we are battling our own sinful condition as we struggle in this fallen world as well as struggling with the sins of others against us. We are helpless to solve this on our own, and so are our children. Hard Hearts need God's Reset Button. The Teddy Bear and Porcupine set allows simpler conversations even for young learners.
These Overflowing Hearts Story Cards can be used alongside any story as a physical and visual reminder to watch for Tender Hearts, Hard Hearts, and God's Reset Button being used to restore relationships. Even very small children can hold up a card when they recognize a Tender Heart, a Hard Heart, or God's Reset Button, and even teens and adults can struggle to remember the connection between behavior and the heart, and the need for confession and forgiveness for the relief of Hard Hearts.
